James founded Extrasensory Devices (which has recently become our for-profit wing, Makers4Good.com) in 2011, through which he developed and brought to market a mobile tempo-analysis product for musicians, a light-metering product for photographers, and audio products and applications.
He subsequently built a team at Samsung Accelerator which conceived of and deployed IoT consumer products into user trials. The team he built and managed was repeatedly acknowledged internally for process, efficiency, consistent delivery, talent, and rigor. His team has successfully exited the corporate incubator by delivering distribution-grade software into global commercialization, resulting in acquisition by Samsung.
He is currently responsible for digital strategy, product development, organizational restructuring at a banking institution in Hanoi, Vietnam.
