One Millions Lights and HELIO are Providing Light in Cambodia

New Nonprofit Partner: Let There Be Light International

Makers4Good is excited to announce our newest non-profit partner, Let There Be Light International, advocates for solar lighting as a tool to eliminate poverty and health issues in a sustainable, replicable model.

Let There Be Light International addresses the basic lighting needs of vulnerable off-grid communities in sub-Saharan Africa. They work to set up and manage community-based solar programming with vetted local NGO Partners who are active in these areas and already have relationships with the most vulnerable households.

New Nonprofit Partner: Rivers & Lands Conservancy

Makers4Good is excited to announce our newest non-profit partner, Rivers & Lands Conservancy (RLC): caretakers of Southern California’s natural, wild and open spaces since 1989.

During their nearly 30-year history, RLC has been instrumental in acquiring and preserving over 11,000 acres of open space. They manage conserved lands for public benefit by protecting, enhancing, and restoring natural resources. Makers4Good is very pleased to announce our newest non-profit partner. Blue Water Baltimore fills a unique role in the Baltimore area as an organization that uses a holistic set of programs to meet the great challenges of improving water quality. HELIO and Our Country’s First People

HELIO is lighting up Native American communities in the United States. Our wonderful non-profit partner, Trees, Water, & People took a case of HELIO units in the field with them to visit tribal lands. Many of our nation’s indigenous people live in conditions with little or no access to electricity, making a solar powered source of light and energy both highly sought-after and much appreciated.
