By Jarrod Whaley

Makers4Good is very pleased to announce the successful close of our Recorders For All Kickstarter Campaign. All backer rewards have been shipped, and it is now time to spread the love! With the generous support of our backers, we are delighted to donate 225 adaptive recorders to the following important and caring non-profit partners. In the following weeks, you will learn a bit more about each non-profit and how the recorders will make a difference in the lives of children.

Amputee Coalition

Amputee Coalition provides a musical program each summer at their camp for children with limb differences. All participants will be able to take a musical journey with their very own adaptive recorder.

Aussie Hands Foundation

Aussie Hands Foundation supports children and adults who have been born with a hand difference or have an acquired hand injury. They provide support, information, networking, and research funding.

Born Just Right

Born Just Right’s mission is to build creative solutions that help kids with differences live a more enjoyable life. They strive to provide opportunities for kids to grow up able, confident and creative.

Lucky Fin Project

Lucky Fin Project raises awareness and celebrates children and individuals born with limb differences. They offer support, eduction, resources, and financial assistance to families worldwide.

UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland - Camp Winning Hands

Camp Winning Hands provides children with opportunities they might not otherwise have. They offer a music program and will be incorporating Records for All for their young campers.

Thanks to each one of our backers and their generous support, hundreds of children will be playing adapted recorders along with their classmates. On behalf of everyone here at Makers4Good, thank you for helping to make that happen.
