Makers4Good just received a wonderful update from one of our amazing non-profit partners, One Million Lights, regarding our HELIO solar light and powerbank. The children of the Tolepan tribe living in the La Laguna Mountains of Honduras are now going to school with brighter classrooms and returning home to brighter houses.
On One Million Lights' blog, Connie Frisbee Houde explains why work like theirs is so important:
The majority of the mountain villages do not have electricity and a solar light is a very welcome gift.
The full post from One Million Lights has all the details about their fabulous service trip, and the difference being made by One Million Lights and our HELIO product.
